How prices, coverage and privacy work
Verified comparisons. Quotes must match your exact quantity and kerosene product, include VAT and standard delivery, and cover the selected town or a published full-county area. Quotes expire within 24 hours or sooner when the supplier says so. Partial coverage, estimates and unsupported quantities cannot win. This service compares connected suppliers; it does not claim to cover every supplier in Ireland. Confirm tank access, final address and delivery slot on the supplier website.
Automatic checks. Recent results are shared and live checks are limited to once an hour per comparison. Supplier failures keep the previous price and quote time. Daily checks prioritise watched and recently viewed comparisons. Real quote-fetch attempts are recorded in the owner’s 30-day reliability history; retaining a manual quote does not count as a successful fetch. Prices are never scaled from another quantity. No order or enquiry is sent.
Privacy. Location permission is optional and only requested by the location button. GPS coordinates are used locally to suggest a town and are not sent to suppliers or this site. Eircode routing-area lookup runs locally: your full Eircode is not stored, added to shared links, or sent to this site, suppliers or an external lookup provider. A routing area can span counties and does not verify an address; choose your actual delivery town and county before comparing. Town, county and litres are sent to this site to retrieve prices. Your search preference stays on your device; shared price records contain the town and quantity. Alert targets use a private device cookie and can be paused or removed above. Optional email alerts require explicit consent and confirmation; email addresses are encrypted in storage and sent to Resend only to deliver your requested messages. Unconfirmed alerts expire within a day and confirmed alerts after a year. Your refill log and planner stay in this browser. Shared links contain only town, county and litres. Visitor price reports and supplier suggestions are private to the owner, reviewed before any separate quote or supplier changes, and kept for up to 90 days. Do not include your Eircode, address or contact details in a report. A private feedback cookie and temporary rate-limit identifiers help prevent spam. No advertising trackers are installed. Sponsorship does not affect rankings.
